Why This Exists

I started Madison Prime Home because I got tired of reading about materials from people who'd never touched the stone or met the maker. This isn't a decorating guide. It's a working resource for designers and architects who want to know where something actually came from, and who made it, before they put their name behind it.

What I Care About

I care about the hand rubbed finish that took a week instead of an hour. The real weight of a stone slab versus a printed one. A joint in a chair built to outlast the person who made it. I'm not chasing what's trending, I'm looking for the handful of things still made the way they used to be made, because those are the things a client will still love in twenty years.

The Eye

Before this, I spent decades in the operating room, where precision wasn't a preference, it was the whole job. That's the same eye I bring here. I can tell the difference between something built with real skill and something that just looks like it. I'm not here to hand you rules. I'm here to point at what's real, and tell you why it matters.
